Program Description
This two-year Academy combines college prep academics with hands-on experience in theater arts. Students will learn script analysis, acting technique, screen acting, audition technique, stagecraft and scenic design. Students will network with alumni currently working in theater, as well as with area artists. Each student will build a resume through experiential learning opportunities, master classes and workshops. Student will build portfolios for technical work and prepare for high stakes auditions and interviews. The Theater Arts Career Academy outlines a career pathway leading directly to an associate’s or bachelor’s degree.
