Program Description
This innovative two-year program, created in partnership with Kent State University, School of Fashion, lets you dive into the world of fashion by exploring both the creative and business sides of the industry. You’ll learn fashion design, the process of sketching, developing, and bringing clothing and accessories to life, and fashion merchandising, the strategy of marketing, pricing, and delivering trends to customers. Through hands-on projects and capstone experiences, you’ll build a professional portfolio that highlights your talent in design and merchandising, preparing you for college, internships, or future careers in fashion—whether that’s designing, styling, marketing, or even launching your own brand.
This program’s partnership will provide you with exposure to the Kent State University School of Fashion’s facilities, such as the Design and Innovation Hub, the Knit Lab, The Fashion Library, The Fashion Museum, and Worldwide Internships.
KSU is the only Fashion school that DOESN’T require a Portfolio; However, all other fashion schools do require a portfolio. All students coming out of this program will be prepared to apply to ANY fashion program.
