Program Description
Explore a field where creativity and mechanical abilities merge with a love for the outdoors and environmental issues.  This two-year program prepares students for a variety of career opportunities, from landscape design and construction to further education in fields such as Urban Forestry, Turf Management, Arboriculture or Environmental Science.  In the second year, students can participate in a “Green Industry” internship with local employers.

  • Level I – Level I: Adv or CP English 1cr (4.5 or 4.0); IA Plant & Horticulture 1cr ( 5.0 ); IB Urban Forestry 1cr (5.0); Environmental Science I 1cr (4.0)
  • Level II – IIA Landscape Design 1cr (5.0); IIB Turf Science & Mgt. 1cr (5.0); Environmental Science II 1cr (4.0); Forestry & Landscape Mgmt. Capstone 1cr (4.0); Optional Adv or CP English 12 (must arrive TRHS by 10:50am)
